My Happy Place Home Care started with one simple thing a family needed. Someone they could trust, so they could finally rest.
So much of home care starts the same way. A daughter who has quietly become the case manager. A son checking the clock from three hours away. A husband who cannot remember his last full night of sleep. They do not need a lecture on activities of daily living. They need one thing. Someone dependable, so they can breathe again.
That is why My Happy Place Home Care exists. We watched families worn down by care that was inconsistent, hard to reach, and impossible to plan around. Missed visits. Unreturned calls. A different stranger every week. So we built something different, on purpose, an agency where structure, communication, and follow-through work together to protect the peace of the people we serve.
We started in 2022, non-medical care for families across the Upstate of South Carolina. The work is simple to say and hard to do well. Show up. Do what we said. Tell the family before they have to ask. Treat the person in that home the way we would want our own mother treated.
